Today Tuesday, 26 May 2026, the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) first argument on the Censure Motion against the former Gauteng Health MEC, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko, over her treatment of cancer patients to be heard tomorrow at the Johannesburg High Court.
The DA’s Motion of Censure was disallowed despite complying with the Legislature’s standing rules and a previous court judgment confirming that the former MEC failed to spend the R250 million allocated for cancer treatment. This negligence led to the deaths of many patients.
