Tomorrow, Thursday, 19 February 2026, the Leader of the Official Opposition in Gauteng, Solly Msimanga MPL, will deliver the True State of the Province Address (TSOPA) ahead of Premier Panyaza Lesufi’s State of the Province Address (SOPA), which will be filled with empty promises again.
Msimanga will highlight the rampant decay of service delivery in the province.
Gauteng residents across all municipalities are plagued by electricity and water challenges, roads littered with potholes and sinkholes, unemployment, and crime, while raw sewage floods the roads and homes.
Msimanga will be joined by the DA Gauteng members of the legislature and members of different caucuses across all municipalities in the province. We will outline DA’s plans to fix service delivery challenges in this province and bring Gauteng to its former glory.
