Tomorrow, Wednesday, 15 April 2026, the Democratic Alliance (DA) will conduct an oversight inspection at the Fearfokol Informal Settlement in Ivory Park near Tembisa. This visit follows growing concerns regarding poor service delivery, severe overcrowding, and the failure to upgrade this informal settlement or relocate residents.
The oversight inspection will be led by the DA Shadow MEC for Human Settlements, Mervyn Cirota MPL, accompanied by DA Midrand Constituency Head, Michael Sun MPL, and DA Ward Cllr Otto Kgeletsane.
The media is invited to attend, and there will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
