The Democratic Alliance (DA) wishes Heinrich Volmink well in his new endeavors.

This week Heinrich tendered his resignation as a member of the DA Caucus in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature to take up a position in civil society with immediate effect.

Heinrich had been a member of the Caucus for just over a year and served in various portfolios namely, Health, SCOPA and Agriculture. He was previously a member of parliament, where he served as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Health, before being promoted to Shadow Minister of Water and Sanitation.

Heinrich’s dedication to public service saw him elected as the DA Johannesburg Regional Chairperson where he put the needs of Joburg’s residents first and strove to build One South Africa For All.

Heinrich’s contribution will be missed but we have no doubt that he will continue to use his skills and experience for the betterment of all South Africans.
